Belmont’s Grad Class Gives Back to Community with Palm Trees

Every year the City of Langford generously donates $10,000 towards Belmont’s Prom & Safe Grad. In return, Belmont’s grade 12 students work with the City of Langford’s Parks Department to give back to the community. On May 5, grad students planted 24 palm trees near the new Langford overpass. Belmont Students are Reminded of Safe Driving Close to Grad

On Monday, grade 12 students at Belmont Secondary listened to a powerful presentation from ICBC’s road safety speaker, Greg Drew. The presentation, lasting an hour, identified all types of impairment that affect decision-making and driving.
