# of Aboriginal Grads Most in SD62 History

This year marks the highest number of Aboriginal graduates in SD62’s history! We are so proud of the foundations and partnerships that have been made with the many Aboriginal groups in our region.

The Aboriginal Grad ceremony is always unique as it takes place at Camosun’s Na’tsa’maht aka The Gathering Place. During the recognition, the student’s walk around a ceremonial fire which is really moving as there is so much meaning in that simple action. They are literally walking from student to adult. Congratulations to all of our grads!
